Update

We went to the High Risk Newborn Clinic today at Arkansas Children's Hospital. I am happy to say that we were released. We do not have to go back to that clinic. Today we saw a nutritionist, developmental pediatrician, occupational therapist, physical therapist and neonatologist. Kohen was worn out!!!! They go by his adjusted age not his physical age so in their eyes he is a 9month old. He tested as a 10 month old!!! Yeah!! It was great to know he has caught up. We will still go back for another swallow study and to the eye clinic but that is OK!!

Rub a Dub Dub, Kohen's in the Tub!

A year has gone by....

So much has happened in the past year. That is all I can say without crying. I just wanted everyone to see how far Kohen has come.
(His arm looks abnormally long in the first picture. It is just the way the picture was taken. This was one of the first pictures.)

Happy Birthday!!

Kohen's first birthday....I can't believe it!! We had his birthday party at our house. He opened (or should I say ate the paper) his presents then we had cake. Shannon made him his own cake just like the one she made for his pictures. If you haven't seen them on Teresa Lee's website, he demolished the cake. He would not touch it this time. Maybe because we were all standing in front of him with cameras!!! I know he had a good time anyway.

Exciting Weekend

We had an exciting weekend this past weekend. Our Saturday was busy to say the least. Kohen and I went to watch the Cherry Valley tee ball team. It was a hoot!! He enjoyed being outside. Then our dear friends Greg and Katie Tarbutton came to see Kohen. They were so good to us when Kohen was born. We stayed at their house many nights while he was in the hospital. I think I even bonded with Jack!! Katie would call me when there was going to be a storm so I could come to her house. Words cannot express how thankful we were to have them. Just before Kohen got released from the hospital, they moved to Missouri. Therefore, they had not yet seen him. He was a ham when they came by. He laughed and played with them. We were so glad they got to see him finally!!! Come back soon Greg and Katie!!

Sunday was Kohens 1st birthday!! Pictures are coming soon.
