ZOO TRIP

This was a little train that you could ride through the farm animals.

The water that I wouldn't let him get in!!

This guy was hilarious. He was picking his nose then eating it!! So GROSS!!

Picnic

Yesterday Kohen got to experience his first trip to the zoo. Mom, Shannon, and I braved the boys at the zoo. It was a great day to go. Not too hot or too cold, not crowded at all. We had a blast. Kohen has been sick so he wasn't his normal hyper, bubbly self but still yet he had a good time. After every animal we saw he would say, "Bye Bye, Monkey." (Or whatever animal we were leaving!) We had a picnic lunch which was also a first experience for Kohen. He did great until we were leaving. There were these water fountains that you could throw coins in that some kids were wading in. Nonetheless, Kohen thought he should get to wade in the water also! When I wouldn't let him (there is no other way to put this...) all hell broke lose!!! He threw the biggest tantrum I have ever seen!!! I carried him out screaming, kicking, throwing his head back. I passed this lady at the entrance, she looked at me and said, "I've had those days." I was mortified!!!! All in all it was a good day with the exception of the tantrum!!

Happy 1st Birthday Sam!

The cake was sooo neat.

Creative Kelly had this ball pit in the house. Kohen loved it. Sam wanted to play with Kohen so bad but Kohen was not having it. He is definitely not Mr. Social.
You would not believe how fast Sam can go pushing this car!!
Marsh and Sam. By this point Sam was exhausted.
Parker...so cute!!

He loved the cake!! Wonder where he gets that sweet tooth???

The blow up jumper was a hit. The kids loved it.

Yesterday we went to Sam's first birthday party. It was the social event of the year. We had a blast. It was so fun watching all the kids play together. What a great day it turned out to be. The weather could not have been better. Kelly did a great job getting the party ready for all the kids. I think they felt like they were at a theme park.

Boots

Just recently Kohen has decided to wear his boots with EVERYTHING. Even pajamas. It is a fight to get him to take them off. Everyone keeps telling me to pick my battles but I cannot stand the thought of those hot, stinky boots on him at bedtime. Hopefully it is just a phase!!!

SNOW 2009

Yes, we have already been outside in the "no" this morning! I dont think Kohen really liked it. It couldn't have been that he had on so many clothes that he couldn't walk!! He does have mittens but wouldn't wear them. Needless to say, we didn't stay out too long.
